Data Deletion Policy
At SocioBoard Private Limited ("SocioBoard," "we," "us" or "our"), your data belongs to you. This policy explains how you can delete it, what happens when you do, and what may remain afterwards. It works alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
1. What you can delete
You are in control of the following:
- Connected social accounts: disconnect any account whenever you like.
- Content: delete drafts, scheduled posts, uploaded media and reports.
- Your entire account: close your account and request removal of your personal data.
2. How to request deletion
You can delete connected accounts and content directly from your account settings. To delete your entire account, use the account settings or email us at [email protected] from the address registered with your account, with the subject "Data Deletion Request."
To keep your data safe from anyone pretending to be you, we may ask you to verify your identity before we proceed.
3. What happens after you ask
Once we confirm your request, we delete your personal information, connected account access, content and analytics from our active systems within a reasonable period. Copies held in secure backups are removed as part of our regular backup cycle.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone, so please save anything you want to keep before you submit your request.
4. YouTube and Google data
If you connected YouTube or other Google services:
- Data obtained through YouTube is stored for a maximum of 30 days.
- If you disconnect your YouTube account or delete your SocioBoard account, we stop accessing your YouTube data and delete what we hold.
- You can also revoke SocioBoard's access at any time from your Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Use of YouTube is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms
5. Data on other social platforms
Disconnecting an account removes our access to it. Posts already published through SocioBoard remain on that social platform, because they live there, not with us. To remove them, delete them directly on that platform.
6. What we may keep
In limited cases, we may keep certain information after deletion, only for as long as necessary, to:
- meet legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements;
- resolve disputes and enforce our agreements;
- prevent fraud and keep our services secure.
Anything kept for these reasons is stored securely and not used for any other purpose. Anonymised data that cannot identify you may also be retained.
7. Team and workspace accounts
If you use SocioBoard through a team or agency workspace, the workspace owner controls the workspace data. If you are a team member and want your personal information deleted, contact us and we will help.
8. Paid plans
Deleting your account cancels your subscription going forward. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, fees already paid are non-refundable.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated date at the top.
